Quiet eye training alleviates the yips in golf putting: a research proposal

A case study is presented of a professional golfer (AB) who in her 13th LPGA season suffered from the psychological form YIPS. She had increased anxiety about technique and eye movements that made focusing difficult. After quiet (QE) training program she overcame YIPS 2nd best season. However, improvement was temporary for reasons may have been due to how treatment delivered. Due pandemic, given QE used email, phone calls, videos showing elite golfers, counseling, research papers. Her coupled stroke kinematics were not recorded, as normally occurs, thus paper concludes with suggestions lead permanent improvements golf or other sports where this stressful disorder occurs.
